FAQ-Shipping, etc.
What does a painting cost?
Paintings vary depending on size, materials and show/media results. Contact me, but know that my work is reasonably priced because I'd rather have somebody own and enjoy it.
Do you charge sales tax?
Maine residents only must pay 5.5%, which I cover in all purchases over $100.
Can I return a work?
Except for custom orders and commissions, if you are unhappy with the piece after you receive it, please contact me within seven (7) days of delivery confirmation so that we can determine whether you need a refund or a replacement. Work must be in its original, undamaged condition for a full refund after it has been returned to me. Shipping costs are not included.
When will my order be shipped?
Any work that is not a custom order ships within 3-5 days after receiving payment.
How is my order shipped?
For US (domestic) orders, items are shipped USPS Priority Shipping or UPS and includes insurance. Contact me if you require a different carrier. After you place your order, I will package the painting and have it priced for shipping to your destination and let you know the amount before I ship. Any price adjustment for a shipping change must be paid before the item is shipped. I am not responsible for shipping delays, damage or loss incurred by the shipper.
What about order tracking?
You will receive a confirmation number when your order ships.
What about international sales?
Packages shipped outside the USA are subject to import fees and dues set by the purchaser's regulations. These are not included in the price of the work and are the buyer's responsibility. For orders less than $400 outside the USA, items are shipped USPS First Class International or UPS International with insurance and certificates. Any price adjustment for change in shipping must be paid in advance of the item being shipped.
